Beyond the Pale
A Wicklow weekend of live music, electronic sets, food and woodland spaces. Beyond the Pale takes place at Glendalough Estate, with camping options that make it a different trip from a day at the nearby monastic site.

The sixth edition is announced for 11 to 13 June 2027, subject to licence. The festival is at Glendalough Estate, not the Glendalough visitor centre.

The estate setting is part of the appeal: music shares the programme with food, art and wellness. Build the weekend around your preferred stages while leaving daylight hours for the quieter parts of the site. If you are going with friends, agree on meeting points before splitting up rather than relying entirely on phone reception.

Read the age and camping conditions first
The published policy is over 21, with specific accompanied-child and teenager exceptions. It is not a general all-ages admission rule. The FAQ also distinguishes tent camping, glamping and campervan arrangements; rooftop tents require the relevant campervan pass. Confirm the exact ticket for every person and vehicle before paying.

Use the estate destination
Glendalough Estate and Glendalough’s monastic visitor attraction are different destinations. Use the organiser’s travel directions and arrival information. A festival campsite also involves walking with equipment, so pack for the ground conditions and keep the essentials accessible for the journey from arrival to your pitch.
