Seventeen days of opera in Wexford, with three full productions on the main stage: Mascagni's Iris, Rossini's L'equivoco stravagante and Prokofiev's The Gambler. The festival calls this its 75th anniversary edition. Almost all of it happens in one building, the National Opera House on High Street, which makes it an unusually easy festival to plan a day around.

Three main stage operas: Iris (Mascagni), L'equivoco stravagante (Rossini) and The Gambler (Prokofiev). The festival also lists an anniversary concert, Croí na Féile, a world premiere called The First Festival, and an Opera Train Experience on Thursday 22 October.
