The experience

The Cailleach Chiarraí, a winter figure from local folklore, connects the programme’s themes of harvest, darkness and renewal. Large outdoor spectacles in Killarney and Tralee sit alongside smaller gatherings in towns including Dingle, Listowel and Sneem.
