Hilma af Klint: Artist and Visionary

The first major exhibition of Hilma af Klint's work in Ireland, in Rooms 6 to 10 of the National Gallery. It puts her spiritual paintings, among them The Swan (1914 to 1915) and the Altarpieces (1915), beside plant studies, early portraits and landscapes, some of which the Gallery says have never been shown publicly before. It runs for nearly four months, so there is no rush, but the Gallery is shut on three days over Christmas and on Good Friday.
