The walk

The 2 to 4 October programme includes Blackstairs ridge routes, a wildlife walk with Éanna Ní Lamhna and Barrow towpath outings. A walks demand substantial mountain experience; B walks also involve rugged hill terrain. C walks provide a less demanding alternative.

Joining the group

Book individual walks and check their own meeting points, equipment requirements and transport arrangements. Many mountain options cost €30 with transfers and refreshments, but do not assume one ticket covers the whole weekend. Night hikes run on both Friday and Saturday.
