The walk

Expect roughly five hours on rugged, unmarked ground. This B walk requires hillwalking experience; darkness adds to the challenge. Guides decide the route on the night.

Book the 3 October session, departing at 6.30pm from Borris Town Hall. Confirm Saturday check-in arrangements with Carlow Tourism. The €30 fee includes transfers and refreshments. Bring a torch, appropriate and spare clothing, food and water.
