Pure Camping now trades as Pure Space, a woodland retreat on the Loop Head Peninsula. Its focus has moved towards cabins, lodges and furnished bell tents, with more limited provision for bringing your own tent.

What has changed

The operator says it moved away from general bring-your-own-tent camping in 2024 because wet weather was damaging the ground. It still makes provision for cyclists, some returning campers and solo visitors. Contact the site about your circumstances before treating it as a conventional tent campsite.

Staying on the grounds

Two small campervan bays sit above the main camping field. Cars cannot enter that field; guests carry belongings or use a wheelbarrow. The wider retreat offers yoga and a wood-fired sauna alongside its accommodation.
